DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE
Pine needle bath is a treatment method involving a solution of pine needle extract diluted in heated freshwater. It creates a chemical effect on the olfactory areas, as well as a thermal effect being beneficial for blood circulation and metabolic processes. This accelerates the cell regeneration process. Moreover, the blood flow activates in the capillaries through many nerve endings.
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED?
Pine needle extract is added to water at a temperature of 36-37°C. The bath should be taken chest-deep lasting not more than 20 minutes for an adult, and 10 minutes for a child. The final stage is patting dry the body with a soft towel. It is recommended to rest and spend up to half an hour in bed after this.
