DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE
Paraffin therapy is a heat treatment method involving melted paraffin in the form of applications, causing a deep warming of the tissues.
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED?
Paraffin heats up quickly, preserves and gives up the heat for a long time. Liquid paraffin hardens quickly if you apply it to a skin area. A process of further heat transfer to the desired area starts. Paraffin is applied directly to the skin in several layers. Then the treated area is wrapped in polyethylene.

RESULTS OF THE PROCEDURE
Paraffin applications stimulate trophic and regenerative processes, reduce muscle cramps and relieve pain, providing a reabsorbing anti-inflammatory effect. Solidifying (paraffin crystallization) it decreases in extent by 10-12 %, exerting a mechanical (compressive) effect on the affected tissues.
